Directions is a relatively concise EP, but its four tracks are packed with interesting rhythms and motifs. The aesthetic is a little bit older–more 2000’s than its 2011 release purports, and in that regard the project reminds me of Envy the Fallen. I always enjoy coming back to these tracks.
In particular, I love the drums parts in the latter two songs. While they might be out of my reach at the moment, I’m determined to learn them over the next few weeks.
