Clocking in at over a year after I posted about the last album, I’d like to introduce everyone to the Echo Mountain Session EP. This is a wonderful self-cover project put together by Sylvan Esso, an electronic pop duo. These tracks have been in my heavy rotation recently, and I attribute that to how masterfully the artists incorporate electronic and acoustic instrumentation in each piece.
This fusion, fronted by Amelia Meath’s fantastically emotive vocals, makes for a really enjoyable casual listen. A breath of fresh air amid the bustle of day-to-day.
