Most Influential Albums #5

For day five of my most influential album list I choose Purple by Baroness. I love the gritty feel and powerful vocals on this record, not to mention the musical complexity in tracks like Desperation Burns, which is written in 7/4. Overall, this is a great project with some really awesome vocals and great guitar and drum parts. Would definitely recommend this for punk rock/metal fans, but its certainly worth a listen for anyone.
